The Woolworth Building holds a special place in my journey to becoming a typewriter artist. It was the first subject I ever attempted using a typewriter back in March 2014 when I was still studying art in college.
That first artwork, created with a lime green 1956 Oliver Courier, was a humble beginning. To mark this milestone, I felt it was only fitting to revisit the same subject in January of this year, as my first project of 2024, showcasing a far more refined skillset developed over the past decade. This new rendition was created using a 1960s Olympia SG3 and represents a second edition release. The artwork measures 42cm x 29.7cm (A3)
