The collection of four London-based artworks from my panoramic series, created in 2021 and 2022, is unique in that completing them today would likely be unfeasible. During the COVID-19 pandemic, London experienced an unusual quietness due to travel restrictions, making the city feel eerily still at times typically bustling with tourists. This tranquility provided an opportunity to create typewriter art in locations that would usually be crowded.
For this particular piece of The Palace of Westminster, I worked from a bench along the Thames footpath. Concealed within the artwork are hidden messages relating to the history of the palace and its design. This serene environment allowed me to focus on the intricate details of the piece, showcasing its architectural beauty.
This artwork is a second edition release, measuring 100cm x 45cm, and is limited to 200 prints.
