On 28th August 2021, I began a new chapter in my artistic practice by creating the first in a series of four panoramic typewriter artworks, typed on-location around London. This particular piece, featuring the O2 and Canary Wharf, was typed from the lantern of Trinity Buoy Wharf lighthouse. This is a second edition release measuring 100cm x 45cm and is a limited edition of 200.
On the same day of creating this work, I was also introduced to it’s creative hub. Trinity Buoy Wharf, a rare artistic space in London, offers studios and galleries for artists. Until then, I had been working from home since 2014, with my typewriters and artworks stored away between exhibitions. In March 2022, I moved into my own studio at Trinity Buoy Wharf; a decision that transformed my career. It has led to numerous opportunities, including news features on ITV, America’s NBC, BBC, and Australian networks. The studio now houses my 100 typewriters and collection of artworks.
