James partnered up with The Royal Albert Hall in April 2023 and was provided a rare opportunity to create this large format artwork of it's interior.

James worked on location using a portable Olympia typewriter and was in awe of the mechanical sound of the machine as it reverberated and echoed around a space that is arguably one of the UK's most iconic music venues.

Described by the venue as "one of our favourite instruments to play here yet," the artwork has taken approximately 2 months to complete and contains type-written names of previous notable performers such as Elton John and the BBC Proms. The artwork has been seen globally by 20 million viewers on Instagram and TikTok.

The artwork measures 70cm x 70cm and is printed on 200gsm acid free white bond cartridge paper. This is the closest match to the paper that the artist has used to type the original artwork. This is a limited edition of 200 print, signed by the artist. Accompanying the artwork is a certificate of authenticity and a personal hand-written thank you letter by the artist.

This artwork will be mailed signed and with tracking information. All drawings are hand-packaged and will be accompanied with a personal hand written message from the artist himself.

Please note that this print is packaged in archival tissue paper and rolled in a heavy duty postal tube. This artwork does not include framing.

Tracking information is provided to the customer. We do not have a return policy unless the artwork has been damaged in transit, then a replacement artwork will be sent. International deliveries might be liable for additional taxes and are at the expense of the customer. We cannot accept cancellations after purchase.
