James has created this portrait of William Shakespeare as part of the collection, 'Authors in Type'. This is a product listing for a limited edition of 200, hand-signed print.

'Authors in Type,' is an art book, to be released in 2025, showcasing 50 portraits by James of literary icons through the ages. Each portrait weaves hidden typed details about the author's life and legacy.

The artwork is printed on 160gsm high quality acid free cartridge and measures 29.7cm x 21cm (A4 paper size) This limited edition print is sold unframed.

The artwork was originally typed using a 1960's Olympia SG3 typewriter over two weeks. Appended with this artwork is a certificate of authenticity.

This artwork will be mailed signed and with tracking information. All drawings are hand-packaged and will be accompanied with a personal hand written message from the artist himself.

This artwork is packaged in archival tissue paper, flat, pressed between heavy duty card and mailed in a C4 box so should be posted through a letterbox.

If the customer purchases multiple prints of varying sizes, then the artwork is posted in a heavy duty postal tube.

Tracking information is provided to the customer. We do not have a return policy unless the artwork has been damaged in transit, then a replacement artwork will be created by the artist. International deliveries might be liable for additional taxes and are at the expense of the customer. We cannot accept cancellations once payment has been made.
