James was given special permission to type this artwork on-location with a portable typewriter, 60 meters above London from the rooftop of Central Hall dome in December, 2022. James believes that Central Hall in Westminster holds one of London’s best views because you are able to see the majority of London’s iconic landmarks.
The completed drawing was taken with the artist for his interview with ITV's This Morning programme in December 2022 and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch in December 2023.
Due to the popularity of this print, the original series sold out within one week due to popular demand. We are finally pleased to release the second edition larger format print.
The artwork measures 50.0 cm × 50.0 cm (19.7″ L × 19.7″ W) without frame, and 52.3 cm × 52.3 cm (20.6″ L × 20.6″ W) including frame and is now available on high-quality, acid-free, archival German Etching Giclée paper from Hahnemühle, ensuring that every nuance and subtlety is faithfully reproduced. Each drawing is appended with a certificate of authenticity.
Unfortunately, as each piece is made to order, we are unable to accept returns. However, if your print is damaged in transit or, in the rare instance that it arrives with a defect, we will happily provide a replacement.
