James created this ambitious artwork of the Chrysler Building in August 2023 as part of a series of aerial perspective architectural landmarks. Concealed within the artwork are hidden typed messages including street names, building names and facts about the Chrysler Building. James originally used a 1960's Olympia SG3 typewriter to create this artwork over a period of two weeks in August 2023.
This limited edition of 400 print measures 59.4 cm × 42.0 cm (23.4″ L × 16.5″ W) without frame, and 61.7 cm × 44.5 cm (24.3″ L × 17.5″ W) including frame and is now available on high-quality,acid-free, archival German Etching Giclée paper from Hahnemühle, ensuring that every nuance and subtlety is faithfully reproduced. Each drawing is appended with a certificate of authenticity.
