New York 400th Anniversary
New York 400th Anniversary
The original artwork measured 118cm x 84cm and it has taken approximately 3 months to complete. The artwork contains more than 1 million hand-typed letters, numbers and punctuation marks and conceals typed street names, coffee shops, local businesses and statistics about NYC. James used 5 typewriter ribbons to create this piece.
This is James’ most ambitious project to date and it has been his most requested subject by followers of his work. The artwork continues the on-going series of aerial perspective landmarks which he began in May 2023.
Now available as a second edition print, each meticulously produced piece bears the artist’s digital signature and is offered in A0 (84.1cm x 118.9cm) and A1 (59.5cm x 84.1cm) sizes.
Framing option for the A1 size is now also available. Printed on high-quality, acid-free, archival German Etching Giclée paper from Hahnemühle, these prints faithfully reproduce every nuance and subtlety of James’ original creation. Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its provenance and value.
You have the option to purchase the print on its own or select the framed version for the A1 size, each elegantly prepared to enhance any space it graces.
