James created this panoramic drawing in August 2021. This is one of the largest artworks available for purchase. The artwork depicts the London skyline from the lantern of Trinity Buoy Wharf lighthouse; a significant historical site where Michael Faraday conducted optical experiments. The artwork conceals hidden typewritten messages about the history of the site, London street names and messages about the process of creating the drawing.

The artwork is hand-signed by the artist and personalised with a small thank you message on the packaging. This artwork is part of the limited edition series; London Panoramic Series of which there are four drawings. These drawings include: London View from Trinity Buoy Wharf, Greenwich University, Canary Wharf and Palace of Westminster.

All prints are limited edition of 200. As of 13/06/2023, more than half of this series has now sold and approximately 100 prints remain in this series.

The artwork is printed on 160gsm high quality acid free cartridge paper and measures 110cm x 55cm. The artwork measures 100cmm x 45cm with a 5cm border to allow for a photo mount when framed or alternatively to be cut down to fit a picture frame.

The original artwork was typed using a 1970's SilverReed 200 typewriter. This particular machine has been used on many of the artists most iconic works and is now on display in Taiwan at Chimei Museum for Outside the Box, When Machine Meets Art.

All prints and originals are posted 1st class and via express courier for overseas purchases. All drawings are hand-packaged by the artist and personalised with a signed message to the customer as part of the service. Tracking information is provided to the customer. We do not have a return policy unless the artwork has been damaged in transit, then a replacement artwork will be sent. International deliveries might be liable for additional taxes and are at the expense of the customer.
